Carnival excitement

A CARNIVAL will be held at the Da-rulaman Stadium parking area to mark Pakatan Rakyat’s three-year rule of Kedah.

The five-day event known as the Kedah Sejahtera Carnival will start on March 10. Various activities and exhibitions will be held by government-linked companies and the private sector.

State Information and Entrepre-neur Development Committee chairman Abd Ghani Ahmad said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak will officiate at the carnival on March 10 at 9pm.

“There will also be martial art demonstrations, a motor show, a nasyid singing competition and a friendly football match between Kedah and Thailand.

“The carnival will be from 9.30am until 11.30pm daily,” he said.
